The tours starts with a walk and an introducing at the renovated part of the Wall-gallery. 1300 meters

among great artworks. The artist described all this paintings who made history very detailed.

Crossing the former “death stripe“, behind the Wall and the river Spree. The middle of the

river marked the former German-German frontier. A place where dramatic escapes took

place. Additionally, this is a place that draws a line to G. Schaefer’s own biography as far

as his experience with limits and borders is concerned.

Berlin, May 2002, the renovated bridge Oberbaumbridge, former checkpoint between

Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and today the onlyst connection between the fusioned districts.

Visiting the photo exhibition “Berlin 1989–2007 - Pictures From Two Millennia“ by G. Schaefer.

An exhibition that starts with the fall of the Wall and deals with Berlin’s development until present.

To be seen in the Art Forum of the East Side Hotel, right next to the bridge Oberbaumbridge.

After the tour, the new impressions can be discussed in a final conversation in order to answer

open questions, during a drink in the hotel lounge, in participants always appreciate this offer

which has of course no time limit.
