A special artist talk, book signing and reception on the exhibition which includes “Pictures from Two Millennia” by

Günther Schaefer and “Wall Art: Defining a Post Berlin Wall Culture” by Christopher Hauck.

Christopher Hauck, third generation German-American artist, Atlanta-based photographer, photographer of the East Side Gallery for the “(de)construction” exhibit.

Christopher Hauck, together with German artist Günther Schaefer, created the exhibition “[de]construction”, which will feature a collection of photographic works recording the Wall Art of the East Side Gallery in Berlin as well as photographs of Post-90’s Berlin. The exhibition is meant to illustrate how the Wall came down and brought two cultures together. During his talk, Christopher Hauck will communicate his divergent and observing perspective on a reunited Germany and will allude to its impact on American culture.
