The fIag was created for the 9th of Nov. 1988 to commemorate

the 50th anniversary of the pogrom, the "Reichskristallnacht".

 

The "Reichskristallnacht" occurred on the 9th of Nov. 1938

 

The opening of the BerIin Wall occurred on the 9th of Nov. 1989

 

The flag symbolizes a fIowing together and a unification.

 

The flag serves a warning against the current rise of new-

fascism and alI fascist tendencies in West and East Germany.

 

The flag encompasses the subjects:

Hitler, fascism, the holocaust, the second world war (started

and Iost by Germans), the resulting division of Germany fol-

Iowed by the buiIding of the WaIl.

 

Furthermore: The inheritance that has thus been forced upon future generations of Germans.

 

The flag encompasses, symbolizes  the basic humanitarian

Ideas of peace and unity among aIl peoples and races in the

worId.
